Deepika shared an amusing meme on social media on Saturday, showing their conversation about buying more plants at home.
The meme depicts one person heading towards plant pots while the other tries to stop them. “You have enough plants,” the caption above them says, as the other shouts, “But I don’t have THESE plants.”
While it’s unclear who is the true plant-lover between Deepika and Ranveer, given DP’s love for nature, it’s safe to presume it’s Ranveer who attempts to prevent her from obtaining more plants at home. Given that she tagged her spouse, viewers assumed this was a common occurrence at their home.

Deepika Padukone spoke up about her relationship with Ranveer Singh in a recent interview with Time magazine, admitting she can be “most vulnerable” with him. After years of courting, the pair married in November 2018. Reflecting on her marriage to Ranveer, Deepika stated that “patience” is the key ingredient for a good relationship for her, as it is for everyone else.
“We either grow up being influenced by movies or the relationships and marriages around us,” she explained. The sooner you understand that the trip two people will take will be significantly different from someone else’s journey, the better. Having stated that, I believe this is true not only for my parents, but for the entire generation. Patience is perhaps one of the most important qualities that I believe couples today–I sound like some love guru but–lack. That is something we can all learn from, not just Ranveer and I from our parents, but all of us from the previous generation. Many other things, but patience is the most important.”
Deepika Padukone’s next film will be Fighter, in which she will co-star with Hrithik Roshan. She is also working on Nag Ashwin’s Project K with Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, is set to be released next month.
